Those wires come from the power side of the battery. You can produced a bad electric shortcut if those wires touch the engine block itself, for example.
Before I sent my car to the shop, the remote key starter used to work fine; now the remote doesn't start the car at all. What happened?
The engine light came on and showed the check emission system message. I went to AutoZone to check the code. It showed P0420. They said it’s the Catalytic Converter and Exhaust Flange Gasket. I just had my emissions inspection about two weeks ago, and it passed. I filled up with gas yesterday. Is there anything that would cause this that would correct itself? I’m a single mom and want to check anything I can before I spend the money to take it to the shop.
I changed my car thermostat, and now it overheats. This only happens when the engine is cool, and you drive like one or two miles. Once it overheats, I just loosen the radiator cap, and the car goes back to normal. What could be the problem?
