The multi-port injection on my 01 BMW x5 shows no pressure at the Schrader valve, but the engine runs fair until it warms up. It doesn't ever die. Can the fuel pump not work while the car still runs, or is the fuel pump's pressure running too low to read with the pressure gauge?
If the engine is running, then the pump is working. There might be a fault in the pump itself, or the fuel pressure regulator.
