I just put in a new clutch. The rpms drop really low taking off in first, and I have to push in the clutch a couple of times to keep it from stalling. Then all of a sudden the rpms stay up, and I'm good to go. What could be the problem?
Answer
Probably the ECM was reset when the battery was disconnected. It may need some time to readjust. But also check the IAC valve, MAF, or for a loose/disconnected vacuum line.
