Lambo Owner Ruffles Car Enthusiasts’ Feathers Because Mileage Proves He Actually Drives His Car

It’s a common refrain among car enthusiasts on the internet: “Can you believe he put that many miles on his car?!” But the truth is cars, especially luxury vehicles, were made to be enjoyed. In the case of this particular Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, we can say that the owner doesn't shy away from using it as intended.

As you may have guessed, there’s no way for us to know whether or not this owner takes care of his vehicle—but if we had to guess based on how he uses it (and how much fun he’s having), we’d say yes!

And these folks seemed pretty into how much he'd used his Lambo so far.

"Is this the highest mileage SVJ??" @user399689696

"If I had a Lambo, I’d have 100k miles in a month." @Will Kruse

Now we don't know how possible that is, but we totally get the sentiment.

To understand why this is such a big deal, it’s important to understand the difference between “car enthusiasts” and “car collectors.” Car collectors are people who collect cars that they don’t drive. They buy classic or rare vehicles and store them in a garage or warehouse, never driving them on public roads.

Collecting cars is to show off their value on paper—or in this case, in Instagram comments—and it’s not uncommon for collectors to pay millions of dollars for a vehicle they will never use. Live a little. Enjoy your investments people!
