Watch How Falcon Wing Doors Handle Rainfall

This is the sleek and smart design Telsa owners want from their car.

Cars are not manufactured with a built-in umbrella for when you're trying to escape the rain, but this Tesla comes pretty close! Its falcon wing doors open upwards and act as a roof while you get in, protecting you from getting wet.

TikToker @testla.flex demonstrated this on his beautiful multi-chrome Tesla. The car unfurled its wings like a majestic falcon with a near-flawless design.

We love that this Tesla has its own little ergonomically designed drainage system. A "Tesla river," as @tesla.flex calls it.

Like with any car, some rain still gets onto the seat, but @tesla.flex remained dry for the most part. He did admit in the comment section, however, that the harder it rains, the more likely the chances of the interior getting wet. And this video does not even account for wind.

A peek in the comment section of this TikTok showed that this feature is not enough to convince some folks to switch over to a Tesla. "That tiny issue is unacceptable on a car this price," @mrbing101 said. "Aside from the umbrella leaking water on your seat, you have an umbrella," @mbtpatriot said. "I hired a Model X for a week, the back seat got soaked when I opened the doors when the car was wet!" @tikkletokkle6 complained.

@jdrou, however, seems sold. "I'm going to get it just so I have a built-in umbrella," he commented.

It truly does depend on what you're looking for in a car. If you just want a vehicle that takes you from Point A to Point B, you're better off looking for a more affordable option. But if you're looking for state-of-the-art technology, you're not going to find anything better than a Tesla.
