Dashcam Video: SUV Barrels Across Median and Crashes Violently Into Moving Police Car

Viewers notice that the police officer seemed to be texting at the time of the accident.

A video shows a police officer driving down a busy road with traffic running in different directions on both sides of a large median populated with grass and trees. Suddenly, an SUV runs wildly across the median and crashes directly into the police car. Watch how it all happens in the video below.

"Even though it wasn't his fault, if he wasn't on his phone he would have been paying attention to the road and possibly avoided this collision," writes @jmannnn84.

"Police officers are allowed to be on their phones while on duty driving," says @yatagawauchiha. "It allows them to connect to sergeants and such."

"The cop shouldn't have been on his phone," writes @user0727371929. "But it was the other guys fault, because he went over the strip of grass and trees between the roads."

"It doesn’t matter if he was on the phone or not," suggests @pamelastringhill. "Either way he was going to get hit. The car that hit him came out of the middle of nowhere, not even on the road."

"I love how worried he is about finding the phone that flew across the car," writes @username00.0000.
