The Spa circuit was special for Schumacher. He debuted at the circuit and a year later on the same track won his first Grand Prix. That was the beginning of many more victories to follow.

2. The 1993 Portuguese Grand Prix

Michael's second victory came against Prost, the French legend, driving a far superior Williams car. A one-stop strategy and keeping his cool against Prost's attack allowed Schumacher to register his second victory.

3. The 1994 Brazilian Grand Prix

The 1994 season was supposed to be an undisputed championship year for Ayrton Senna. But Schumacher showed up as the only contender to the coveted crown. Here was the first of the head-to-head battles which Schumacher won.

For the second time in the season, Michael Schumacher won despite the superior yet incredibly unstable Williams cars being around. This was the first back-to-back victory for Schumacher.

6. The 1994 Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco GP was the first race after Ayrton Senna's tragic loss. Schumacher appeared unstoppable as there was not a single World Champ on track. Prost had retired in 1993, Nigel Mansell left F1 in 1992 and the world lost Ayrton in 1994.

7. The 1994 Canadian Grand Prix

Michael Schumacher won his fifth race from the first six of the 1994 season. Damon Hill was the main title rival in a much improved Williams car. Michael was still in a league of his own.

Michael Schumacher won the French race which welcomed Nigel Mansell back to the F1 fold. Nigel and Damon paired up for the Williams team and still, Michael found a way to take the top honors.

9. The 1994 Hungarian Grand Prix

Despite the improvements in the Williams car and Nigel's arrival, Schumacher continued to dominate proceedings. He won the Hungarian GP quite easily.

The European GP was Schumacher's last win of the 1994 season. He continued his dominating form in the race.

Michael Schumacher won the first race of the 1995 season after Damon Hill retired. Michael took on from where he left in the 1994 season. Williams team still had to find ways to stop him.

The race was dominated by Hill initially, but based on the pit strategy, Michael got ahead of Hill and remained there until the end.

Damon Hill was the one ahead in this race too, but Michael and the Benetton team were getting good at their pit strategy.

The Pacific GP hosted an F1 race for the last time in 1995 and it also became the venue where the drivers' championship was decided. Michael won the race and became the world champion for the second time.
