Here is my list of the best 10-inch subwoofers available. Here is what I will be basing my rankings on.

  1. Customer Reviews
  2. Price vs. Specifications and Features
  3. Overall Look of the Product

I have given customer reviews the most weight. This is because the consumer has owned and used all of these products and knows exactly what they want. Consumer reviews are generally the most reliable especially when the product has been reviewed many times.

Please note that this list is compiled by using popularity and specifications vs. price point. If you are looking for competition subwoofers, you may need to look elsewhere, but for standard consumer use, I've listed some of my favorites here.

The 3 Best 10-Inch Subs from Under $50 to $150 in 2019

From around $50 to $100 and $150 here are the three subs I'd order right now.

The Kicker 10C104 is the most popular budget sub on the market right now because of the features you get for what you pay.
The Kicker 10C104 is the most popular budget sub on the market right now because of the features you get for what you pay.

A Good Budget Sub Under $50

Kicker 10C104 10-Inch Subwoofer

If you've only got around $50 to spend, it's hard not to like what you get with Kicker's 10C104. While Kicker claims it's the best sounding under $100 subwoofer, I like some of its competitors in the $80 to $100 range a lot better.

That being said, for around $50 you get an injection-molded cone, high-temp coil wire, and vented pole piece for heat dissipation. Not to be confused with the dual voice coil comp series, this sub costs less than half the price but still packs amazing bass. If you're looking for something inexpensive to add to your already existing system, this is a good place to start.

Under or Around $100

Pioneer TSSWX2502

For under $100 I like all the features you get with Pioneer's TSSWX2502. One of the more attractive features is the quality preloaded enclosure that should fit in the rear seat of most trucks.

Overall this sub deserves a spot here because of its low profile and great sound. It's perfect for a compact truck or car.

Under $200

Infinity Basslink 200 Watt

In the under $200 category, the Infinity Basslink really stands out. With a servo-control circuit that monitors the voice coil's position, you get a lot less distortion than with other models on the market.

Another great feature is the user-adjustable controls which allow you to set your system's response to get optimal performance. Specs for the Variable Bass EQ (+3db to -6 db at 45Hz).

Overall this is another great value for what you pay and probably the best option in the under $200 price range.

Is Pyle, Pioneer, and Pyramid what this writer thinks are good subwoofers? Lol. Anyone reading this looking for subwoofers, you get what you pay for. If you want to spend $50-100, you end up unhappy with this junk. If you are looking for good subs, $250-400 can get you a single great sub and custom made enclosure built to spec. Look up Steve Meade forums, you can’t go wrong there. This list is right there with going to your local Walmart and getting a system that no one on OfferUp or Craigslist will want to take off your hands.

Maybe the last post was a little harsh. But here's my constructive criticism.

The look of a subwoofer has nothing to do with the sound, including the sound quality or sound output.

Don't ever use someone else's reviews to make your own review. Just because 27 misinformed people gave boss 5 stars doesn't mean it is a 5 star product. It may be a 5 star product to them because it is one of the only subwoofers they have ever heard, but to anyone who actually has knowledge on the subject they would laugh in your face if you mentioned boss.

A simple google search would show you that boss wubwoofers may boast a high efficiency and high maximum rms ratings but are in fact actual fallacies.

Manufacturer's specs are decieving, on purpose to make you buy their sub. Boss is known for decieving people just to buy their sub. Why else would a sub have so much flare? Yes, flare is good, but it gets old very quickly when you cant even hit a note lower than 50hz.

There are a few respectable sub manufacturers out there. And it is not hard to find them. Off the top of my head i can tell you JL audio, higher end kicker, rockford fosgate, sundown, alpine and polk audio all make great subwoofers. These manufacturers do not exist because of flashy subs that "look cool" or boast a "high" (manufacturer's) efficiency. They sound excellent and their specs do not lie.

There is a reason Boss and Dual products are sold in walmart, and car audio shops sell JL, rockford fosgate.

If you want to cheap out on your sub go ahead and get the boss, but it wont have any quality or spl. If you want a cheaper, nice sounding sub, go with a rockford fosgate stage 1 or a JL audio 8w3v3. Because i guarantee they will sound better than half the crap you put in this hub.
